What is REMI or REMY Hair?
We've encountered many customers asking about REMI or REMY Hair. There are plenty of misnomers about REMI or REMY products. The one we come across everyday and that we would like to address is that nearly 90% of the customers are under the misconception that REMI Hair is a brand name. REMI Hair is not a brand name. The term REMI refers to the characteristics in the hair used to manufacture the hair extensions. REMI has qualities such as uni-lateral cuticle direction meaning the hair follicles all go in one single direction, which creates softness and longevity in the product. REMI hair is extremely soft and silky. In addition, true REMI hair is unprocessed hair. If REMI comes in a Yaki texture, I'm sorry to say, it has been processed. If consumers are paying top dollar to buy true unprocessed REMI hair extensions, companies should deliver what is expected. Many different companies claim to have REMI and sell it as such but in all fairness it is not the case. They process their hairs to obtain a yaki, wavy, or curly look but that in itself means that the hair is no longer REMI quality. Since we control the process from manufacturing to end consumer use, we are able to deliver an incredible product while putting our experience in the hair industry of over 30 years to the test. Companies that do not have extensive manufacturing capabilities only send out quality control agents to inspect abnormalities. We just don't believe that its good enough. If the end consumer is spending an arm and a leg, we believe that inspection of one or two pieces is not enough to insure quality assurance. So the next time you are out looking for that fine silky REMI hair extensions, remember to be mindful of the products that you are purchasing. REMI Human Hair extensions should last up to more than 6 months with regular maintenance.
