Do I want dreadlocks?

A hairstyle that has been so misunderstood and generated so many rumors. Dreads or dreadlocks are inner-locked coils of hair which tend to form naturally. For some people of African descent, dreadlocks are a form of ethnic pride.

Dreadlocks are not dirty and do not smell. They require regular maintenance similar to straight hair and are quite the opposite of its stereotype to being damaging to your scalp. Natural dreadlocks or synthetic dreadlocks both do not require the use of any chemicals processes making them better for your scalp. Dreadlocks like other types of hair styles need to be cleaned regularly. Every hair style personifies their attitude and dreadlocks are a good way of doing just that.

Creating dreadlocks is an extremely time consuming activity. Some dreadlocks may take up to 7 to 8 months to acquire however, Black 'n Gold® hair company has created a synthetic version to this dreadlock hair style. They are available for braiding so that you can braid them straight into your hair to get the dreadlocks you've always wanted. Two versions of dreadlocks that can be braided are currently available; The Rastafarian dreadlocks that comes two in a package and the Marlie Dreadlocks that are a single package. Customers often complement the dreadlocks for the way the hair falls after being braided.
